Hey guys, I met up with JeepFlexin at the RSO training for Elk Neck and he told me about the forum. Glad to have a place of our own.

I am an 01,06, and 07 FFL. I am also an NRA certified instructor and I am putting together CCW training right now.

I do transfers and buy,sell,trade, and consign.

I don't want this to sound like a commercial, it's not my intent, just letting everyone know what I do, in case I can help them out and vice versa.:D

I am personally in to EBR and I am starting to get into trap shooting. I never realized how much more fun it is than punching holes in paper.

Thanks David! I didn't want to step on your toes with the training. I realize you are downstate, but still didn't want to show any disrespect.

I will post training dates when they come together or will do one on one as needed.

Glad to see you made it over here Scott, did you get your email to 3rdrecon on the MD board? I didn't think it appropriate to give it to them on your behalf with out permission. (though I speculated you would have no issue with it)

For dummies like me :confused: can you give a bit more detail as to what the different FFL designations mean? I have a buddy of mine wants me to get an FFL so I can start taking my gunsmithing hobby to the next level. Of course I'm hesitant to do so because the last time I turned a hobby into a job it detracted from the hobby.:(

Also what is EBR?

Thanks for having me.

01 is dealer, 06 is ammo manufacturer, 07 is firearms manufacturer.

EBR= Evil black rifle :D

I signed up for the RSO forum, and sent him a friend request. I was talking to Noel, and he said Terry gave him a hard time because me and Noel didn't sign up. Not sure what that was about...I know I signed up.

EBR makes sense, I have a couple of those.:D

So the first two FFL's seem self explanatory, do you manufacture ammo? Or do you use it to buy parts to manufacture ammo? What does the 07 allow you to manufacture? Is that a for future use or are you manufacturing stuff already? If I'm getting to personal just tell me to piss off. :D

As far as Terry getting crabby I would not sweat it, I was sitting right next to you when you signed up so I suspect he is simply mistaken. I know he was worried that many signed up just for a cheap certification and would not donate time, it seems almost everyone has donated time though. Lot of pressure on Terry to make this deal a success, organizing something like this while under a microscope is not my idea of a good time. I'm glad he is doing it but I sure wouldn't want his job, you know he pretty much never even shoots at ENSF?
