Delaware State Sportsmen’s Association to
Host 2010 Election Year Candidates Forum!

On Sunday, January 10, 2010, the Delaware State Sportsmen’s Association will be hosting the 2010 Election Year Candidates Forum and Second Amendment Rally.

Doors open at 1 p.m. with an hour reserved for socializing with fellow NRA members and candidates. The forum begins at 2 p.m. where candidates will have five minutes to discuss their stance on Second Amendment, hunting, conservation and concealed carry issues in Delaware. If you would like to ask a question, please plan to arrive early and stay late to mix and mingle with the candidates as questions will not be taken directly from the floor during the forum.

Come rally for freedom! Show Delaware’s political leaders that Delawareans are strong and united in defense of our
Right to Keep and Bear Arms!

The forum will take place at the Modern Maturity Center located at 1121 Forrest Avenue in Dover,
on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 1 p.m.

Made it out to the DSSA 2010 Election Year Candidates Forum, I listened to some interesting candidates and some not so interesting :confused: candidates.Which can be expected when it come to politics. I shot about two hours of video (pun attended) of the speeches that I will need to view an see if there's anything worth sharing? But I will say that it's not likely I will take the time to edit any of the footage, very little was presented that impressed me!

Nothing was brought up about Delaware Shall Issue (and we know why) as long as there's a Democrat seated as Governor we have a snow flake chance in hell to even get close. (No offense snowflake) So why waste the effort.

One good thing I heard was there will be a effort into getting public shooting ranges built in Kent and Sussex County at some point like they have in New Castle (Ommelanden Hunter Education Training Center). I will dig further into this and keep everyone updated!


DSSA is also running a special, $15 on 1st year membership, this offer expires February 10, 2010. Nows a good time to become a member and help the only organization in Delaware that looks after our 2A rights and keeps Dover in check. (There's power in numbers!) DSSA did a great job in putting everything together and I would like to send a big shout out to them and say Thank You! Also it was good to see a lot of my NRA friends that I haven't seen in some time.:usa:
